Back Again This Summer - Xcelerate Boys Lacrosse Camp @ Alexandria
Field
Monday, July 13 - Thursday, July 16, 2009
One of the great assets we have as a program is the Xcelerate Lacrosse camp held at Alexandria Park. Xcelerate is a high quality camp taught only by pro-players and coaches - no college kids who are earning a few extra $$. From novice to advanced players, Xcelerate can help your child take their game to the next level - and it is right in our back yard!!!
Unfortunately, if more Chargers do not sign up for this wonderful camp . . . we will lose it!
Our organization realizes that Xcelerate is NOT the cheapest camp available. Moreover, children are required to bring their own equipment. This can place the camp out of reach for some people financially. However, the organization believes so strongly in the benefits of this camp to our players that the board has decided to make our equipment available exclusively to Charger players who are attending the Xcelerate Lacrosse camp.
PLEASE NOTE: All players must hand in their gear and uniforms during normal equipment hand-in. Those attending Xcelerate Lacrosse Camp will pick up their "camp gear" July 12th or 13th and return it at the end of camp around July 16th. More details to follow for those Charger players that sign up for Xcelerate and are interested in equipment.
We hope to see you at Xcelerate lacrosse camp - let's keep this great camp in our back yard!
More information as well as registration material available at www.xceleratelacrosse.com.
Del Val Lacrosse Golf Outing Update New!
Del Val Jr. Lacrosse would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our first ever golf outing! It was truly a wonderful event, and we appreciate all the help by all those that pitched in with registration, stuffing goodie bags, donated generously to the cause etc.! It was truly a team effort and once again a testament to the voluntary spirit of the Chargers! Thank you!

Congratulations
Congratulations to the following Charger girls who made the U-15 girls lacrosse team!
- Kali Cook-Grisewood
- Hannah Wilcox
Congratulations to the following Charger girls who made the U-13 girls lacrosse team!
- Taryn Cook-Grisewood
- Alyssa Orrico
- Caroline Vath
- Emily Wasik
Congratulations to Tanner Dixon for making the U-13 boys lacrosse team!
All of these players will represent North Jersey Junior Lacrosse at the national jamboree in Ohio and at Lake George this summer. The odds in making these teams are truly incredible and a real testament to their hard work and skill in playing this great sport. To date, Tanner is only the second boy Charger to make the U-13 team (Dookie Beriont made it in 2003) and only the third boy Charger total (Andrew Albarella made U-15 in 2007). In addition, our Chargers organization has only sent one prior U-13 girl player, Hannah Wilcox (2007), and two prior U-15 girl players, Tracy Novak (2007) and Hannah Wilcox (2008).
You ALL make us SO PROUD!
